Maui's Fearless Wanderer Celebrates the Class of 2025

Season #3 Episode #11

Aloha and welcome back to Fearless Wanderer, right here on your Maui airwaves, KAKU 88.5 FM! It's a beautiful day here in Kahului, and today, my heart is overflowing with aloha for a very special group of people: the graduating class of 2025, right here on our beloved island of Maui.

Eman'on, your Fearless Wanderer, is sending out the sincerest congratulations to everyone of you. Take a moment, graduates, and let that sink in. You did it! You've crossed a significant threshold, marking a crucial milestone and a true transition into adulthood.

I remember my own high school graduation like it was yesterday… well, maybe not yesterday, but the memories are vivid. And speaking of transitions and the unexpected turns life can take right after this big moment, let me share a little something with you. Fresh out of high school, feeling on top of the world, I managed to get into a bit of a fender-bender. Nothing serious, thankfully, but it was a sharp reminder that even with a diploma in hand, life still throws you curves.

The journey after graduation is a unique one for each of you. You'll be navigating new paths, facing new challenges, and discovering parts of yourselves you haven't even met yet. Take what you've learned within those school walls, the knowledge, the friendships, the lessons – and now, make it your own. Don't just recite it; live it.

This time is so crucial for personal development, for really getting to know who you are, what you value, and what truly drives you. Embrace the self-awareness that comes with stepping out on your own. It won't always be easy, there will be stumbles, maybe even a few fender-benders along the way, metaphorically speaking of course! But trust in yourselves, lean on the support systems you've built, and never stop learning.

So to the graduating class of 2025 here on Maui, congratulations again from the bottom of my heart. The future is yours to shape. Go out there, be fearless in your own way, and make us all proud. Stay tuned, we'll be right back after the break here on KAKU 88.5 FM.
